Our commitment
Our purpose is to empower and inspire individuals, companies big and small, and anyone striving for a more sustainable world. We whole-heartedly believe in the concepts of handprinting and net positive where the good we do and how much we give back should far outweigh the footprint or impacts of how we live and do business.
Carbon neutral since 2018. Climate Positive since 2020
We are committed to carbon neutrality and we’ve offset 100% of our operating energy – both electricity and natural gas – through renewable energy purchases and reforestation programs. As of today, we’ve procured enough high-quality, certified carbon offsets to neutralize all of our emissions since our founding in 2018. But we didn’t stop there. Every year since 2020, we not only offset the emissions from all operating energy and business travel but have purchased surplus offsets that support global reforestation efforts resulting in Aspire Sustainability being Climate Positive! Carbon Negative! Net Positive! We are so proud!
We volunteer in our communities, hold leadership roles in non-profit organizations, and mentor aspiring sustainability professionals.
Additionally, we participate in Earth Hour and Earth Day annually, offset carbon emissions for all business operations and travel, and support renewable energy projects in CO and NY. We foster a healthful work-life balance by encouraging wellness inside and outside the workplace. Our team routinely engages in fulfilling and replenishing activities such as Thai Yoga Massage, Pilates, meditation, mindfulness, music making, and connecting with nature through hiking, skiing, camping, and gardening.
Efficiency and renewable energy are essential, but we also need to remove carbon that’s already in the air. And nature provides an amazing solution – trees. And we LOVE trees! To date we have planted more than 4000 trees!

1% for the Planet
Doing good and giving back! Before Aspire Sustainability even had its first client, we knew we wanted to be a purpose-driven company committed to giving back while doing good. We became a 1% for the Planet business member before we even earned any money. The intent of 1% for the Planet is to help fund diverse environmental organizations so that collectively they can be a more powerful source in solving the world’s problems.

One Tree Planted
We love trees! Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. We have been a “Reforestation Partner“ with One Tree Planted since 2018. From our start, we promised to plant a tree for every new social media follower we get. We also committed to planting a tree for every single registrant of the annual conference of the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment (the key service and expertise we provide as a company). To date we have planted thousands of trees with One Tree Planted!

The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund
We believe in bees and butterflies! The Bee & Butterfly Habitat Fund’s habitat programs provide proven pollinator benefits including high-quality forage for honey bees and other pollinators across the entire growing season. Preliminary data shows that NextGen Habitat Projects support some of the highest abundance and diversity of plants preferred by honey bees and other pollinators. “High-quality forage goes hand-in-hand with pollinator health and productivity,” – Dr. Clint Otto, Research Ecologist with the US Geologic Survey.
This organization identifies private, public and corporate projects with the highest potential to create pollinator habitat, and then they design a precision habitat mix to maximize pollinator support for each project. Each project receives free or heavility discounted pollinator seed mixes and the guidance to prepare, establish and maintain the project for a minimum of 5 years.
